Oh, blogging..! Been doing it for yeeeaaars! In my native tongue, that is. Which, FYI, isn't English. But I have decided to give self-publishing and ebooks a try - something that isn't a big thing in my part of the world - and especially not in my mother tongue. Oh, and blog about it(!)

I have been writing for years - ever since, well, since I could write. I think my first story was about a brother and sister who went to China and drove around and saw the entire country in one day!! I remember my mom saying: "Aaarhh, in ONE day?" Ok, så realism wasn't my thing when I was eight. Maybe they were superhumans who just moved really fast compared to simple mortals? Did you ever think of that, mom?

Obviously, I've done my share of really embarrasing stories (even had a real live publishing agency publish one of them - fortunately you can't buy it anymore). But have also met tons of rejection letters. And I've had long periods of time where I've been completely uninspired, and at one point I even gave up, because what was the point - no one wanted to publish my work, anyway!

But I've never been as inspired as I am now. I don't know why. Maybe I'm just ready now? Have written another novel in native tongue that is awaiting it's fate in traditional publishing. And am working on something that I plan to publish myself - in English.
